Lekhwiya winger Ismael Mohammed is looking to make a big impact for his sides title chances when Lekhwiya take on Al Rayyan in the QSL match of the week for round 20. The Qatar international is set to return to the side after suspension, Mohammed spoke to QSL online to give his thoughts on the game.

What do you think of the coming game versus Al Rayyan?

It’s going to be a tough match, that could decide the title perhaps. I am looking forward to the game.

What is your expectations for the match, which team will win?

I don’t predict games, but I hope that Lekhwiya will win, of course.

How can Lekhwiya defeat Al Rayyan?

If we follow the head coach’s instructions, and it is also important to be in full concentration during the match, taking into consideration that match might be tight with very few chances in front of goal.

Which player worries you from Al Rayyan?

Al Rayyan is a big team with quality players, I believe Sebastian Soria and Sergio Garcia are the players to watch out for.

The first leg fixture between both sides ended in a tie, do you expect the same result?

No I don’t think the match will end in a tie. I think Lekhwiya can win the league.

It seems that Lekhwiya is closing on the QSL title, does this put you all under pressure?

We are used to playing with pressure, the league title race is not over yet.

Is Lekhwiya capable of retrieving the QSL title?

Yes we are.

What is your objective this season?

To keep on winning this season’s titles and the bigger goal is the AFC Champions League.
