QSL Al Arabi secured a 2-1 victory over Arabian Gulf League side Al Wasl at their German training camp on Saturday afternoon.<br />

Arabi opened the scoring from the penalty spot on the 58^th minute, through summer signing Luis Jiménez, and all but confirmed the win on the 75^th minute through striker Alan Souza. Al Wasl did score a late consolation, but Gerardo Pelusso’s side held on for the win.<br />

The result is Arabi’s first win of preseason, following a 1-0 defeat to Al Hatta and a thrilling 3-3 draw with local side Sc Feucht. The Dream Team will now train ahead of a further two friendly matches, which have yet to be announced by the club.<br />

Al Arabi will then return to Qatar on the 26^th of August, and ramp up preparations ahead of their first match of the QSL season, when they will take on Al Sailiya on the 15^th of August.
