QSL side Al Ahli has unveiled their latest professional signing ahead of their QSL match of the week against Al Gharafa. Ivorian striker Wilfried Yessoh was paraded in front of the local media on Wednesday afternoon in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Thani, president of Al Ahli.
The 25 year old attacker was top scorer for his side AS Denguélé in the Ivorian Ligue 1 last term with a tally of 17 goals, he has put pen to paper on a five year deal with the Brigadiers.
Speaking at the press conference revealed Ahli’s pedigree with African strikers was a decisive factor in the move. “I am very pleased to be joining Al Ahli who is a big club in Qatar. They have had great attackers in Meshal Abdullah and Alain Dioko and I hope to repay the faith the management have placed in me.”
Yessoh will join now Congolese striker Firmin Mubele in attack for Al Ahli and could be in line for a start for his new side in the first match of the QSL season when Al Ahli take on Al Gharafa on Thursday evening at Al Ahli stadium.
