Ex-Barcelona legend and current Al-Sadd captain Xavi Hernandez received a special welcome courtesy of the official Qatari chapter of FC Barcelona fan club.
 
Members of the fan club honoured Xavi prior to Al Sadd’s evening training session on Sunday.
 
The fan club unrolled and displayed a banner honouring Xavi and managed to spend time with the player, who gave several autographs photo opportunities. 
 
Members of the Barcelona fan club explained that they would support Xavi by attending Al Sadd F.C. matches throughout the upcoming 2015/16 Qatar Stars League season.
