Al Sadd Sports Club’s midfield master Xavi Hernandez thanked everyone in Qatar for the huge hospitality since he arrived in Doha.

Xavi was speaking at the launch ceremony of the Qatar Stars League and said that he is happy to be at Al Sadd because of their distinguished history and the great Head Coach.

“I have gained lots of titles with Barcelona as well as the Spanish National Team and I am always motivated to win more. My aspirations with Al Sadd go beyond the local titles and I actually want to repeat Al Sadd’s previous success in the AFC Champions League. I think with the team we have, we can certainly aim for this title. I am looking forward to winning many titles with Al Sadd”

Xavi said that his experience in Qatar with Al Sadd is all very new to him but he loves it and will give his best. He said, “I expect our team to be the toughest and fiercest in the league.”
