
Week 3 of the Workers Cup has some exciting matches lined up as each team will be targeting a strong finish to the group stages. There will be 16 matches played this upcoming Friday at the Al Thumama fields featuring all 32 teams.Matches will be starting across the day with Kick-offs for the games set for the morning session at 8AM & 9:30AM whilst the afternoon round games are set to start at 12:30PM & 2PM.
Last week saw plenty of goals scored as the second round of games had plenty of highlights. Spectacular performances by teams like Taleb Group, Mowasalat, L&T and Al Asmakh Facilities provided plenty of entertainment for the fans. This year, around 600 players are participating among 32 teams in the 5th edition of the cup.
Group A will see BOTC will take on Galfar Al Misnad in the early kickoff, while the other match in the group will see Shapoorji Pallonji go up against Nakheel Landscapes. Group B will feature Delta Doha versus G5 Security and AKTOR S.A. versus ALYSJ.
In Group C action Taleb Group will face Arab Coast Projects and BOOM Construction will take on TRAGS Qatar. Mowasalat will battle it out with Al Asmakh Facilities and Cofely Besix Mannai match up against Al Balagh in Group D.
Larsen & Toubro face QDVC while TANZIFCO take on Doha Pest Company in Group E. MEDGULF and Desert Line lock horns in Group F along with Al Balagh face DICHO Tech. In Group G DULSCO are up against AALCO and Outlook play NAAAS Group. Finally, Group H will feature Gulf Contracting versus G4S Qatar and Carillion Qatar vs AGME.
General admission to all Workers’ Cup matches is free and everyone is encouraged to attend and cheer on the participating teams.
