Landmark deal builds on initial 2016 Qatar Cup agreement
 
Qatar fuel supplier Woqod has signed an agreement as Official Fuel Business partner for the 2016/2017 Qatar Stars League season.
 
Woqod’s head of public relations Sheikha Sara Nasser Al-Thani was joined by Khalifa Al Haroon, Executive Director of Marketing & Communications of the Qatar Stars League to formally sign the agreement on Monday afternoon.

Speaking at the signing of the agreement Al Haroon stressed the importance of such deals for the QSL. “It’s a privilege to have Woqod sign on as a sponsor with the league, we worked closely with them during lasts seasons Qatar Cup competition, so we are delighted to have them now for the QSL season. Woqod are one of the largest companies in Qatar, I would personally like to thank the board of directors at Woqod who sanctioned this agreement.”

Whilst from her side, Sheikha Sara Nasser Al-Thani head of public relations at Woqod expressed her pride in signing the one year deal. “We are proud to be the official fuel partner for the Qatar Stars League, football is the biggest sport in Qatar, and we are showing our support for the beautiful game with this landmark agreement with the Qatar Stars League.”
