QSL side Al Khor have confirmed that key defender Welinton is set to return to the side ahead of The Knights round 22 match against Al Sadd.

The Brazilian defender sat out of Khor’s 1-0 defeat to Al Gharafa though domestic suspension after picking up his fourth yellow card of the season against Muaither in round 20. After serving the ban, Welinton should return to the starting lineup, which will be a major boost to Khor coach Jean Fernandez.

In other team news, Al Khor also confirmed that they are hoping that midfielder Musaab Abdulmajeed will be fit in time for the Friday evening match against Al Sadd. The Qatari midfielder missed the last game against Al Gharafa with an injury, and could be fit in time for the Sadd tie.

Al Khor are currently in eleventh place in the QSL standings and have 20 points from 21 QSL games played this season.
