QSL side Al Sailiya have confirmed the signing of their seventh player in the transfer window in the form of El Jaish midfielder Wagner Ribero. The Peregrines confirmed the deal for the attacking midfielder late last night via their social media accounts and official website. It is thought that Wagner has signed a short term loan deal with Sami Trabelsi’s side till the end of the season. 

The deal represents a final flurry from Al Sailiya, who have announced three loan deals from El Jaish this week. Wagner will now join fellow team-mates Mohammed Jumaa and Rami Fayez, who previously played with each other at Al Arabi during the first half of the season. 

The three new recruits are also joined by three new professional players in the form of Uzbekistan attackers Temurkhuja Abdukholiqov and Sanjar Shaakhmedov joining the club on permanent deals whilst Romanian midfielder Valentin Lazăr has been signed on loan from Dinamo București.

Al Sailiya are set to take on El Jaish on Thursday evening, and all three loanee’s could be in contention for a starting place against their parent club. Sami Trabelsi’s side are currently in tenth place in the QSL standings.
