Match kick-off at 20:15 Fri, 6th at the Suhaim bin Hamad stadium

Umm Salal head coach Ugyun Bolent:
“We are happy with our last victory. We're preparing for the next game with a lot of motivation. We will try to do our best to get the three points.”

“We don't take any team for granted. We look at all our opponents with respect. Shahania have produced good results and they will try to win against us to continue their  run. But our ambition is also to take the three points.”

“Ahmed Fathi is a very important player for this side; he is preparing himself to come back. Maybe he won't play this game. But we still have a good squad of players that can replace him and do well.”

Al Shahania coach Luka Bonasitch:
“In our last game we didn't have a good result. We had a few individual mistakes, if we continue to make mistakes we will continue to lose points.”

“We are now focusing on the next round against Umm Salal. It will be a game where we will have to fight a lot. They are one of the best teams when it comes to utilizing the wings and playing with crosses. They have scored a lot through that method and will try to do the same.”

“We will treat it like a final and we will try to do our best in order to take the three points. We will try to press them and try to recover the ball as early as possible and not give them the chance to build up any attacks.”

“We are doing very well in training, but that doesn't translate into results during the match. We have a great squad and we are looking to fight and take the small chance that we have to stay in the league.”
