Match Kick-off 20:15, Wed March 10th at the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium.

Umm Salal head coach Uygun Bülent
“The loss against Shahania was a big shock to us and also the loss to Kharaitiyat. If we had won those two games we would have been in the top-4 but we will try to come back and get some wins. In football that can happen where you give everything to win but you end up losing.”

“We still have our game against Qatar SC. That game will be crucial. But we have to prepare for each game like it's a final. Each team will play with a particular set of tactics and we have to be ready for all of them.”

We are trying to resolve this problem of conceding too many goals in the recent matches. But we have been missing some important players like Ahmed Fathi. In some situations, we have been slow to make the transition between offence and defence. But in general I believe that our team is not doing badly.”

Al Arabi assistant coach Ricardo Rodrigues
“We got three important points from our last game. We have analysed our opponent and hope we will be ready for this game.”

“At this stage, all games in the league are going to be close. There's not a lot of difference between the teams. That makes the competition very tough and more importantly, it becomes difficult to predict what we will get from a certain game. All our games will be difficult for us. Some teams are playing for the title, others are looking to save themselves from relegation and then there are teams trying to get into the top 4. So no game will be easy from now on.”

“Boualem Khoukhi will be absent because of four yellow cards.”

Arabi striker Júnior Dutra
“For us players, every game is for three points. We have had a good victory at home. And that has given us the confidence. I have been here for two weeks. In this time I have seen that individually we are strong and have good quality but sometimes things will take time to happen. But after the last result, luck has turned for us. We are surer about how to play. We can really start to have better results now. In QSL, you have to believe that in 90 minutes anything can happen. Teams that are leading 3-1 end up losing 3-4. It's different and I have to adapt. Because as a striker I need to be ready for everything.”
