“We haven't had the best of performances in our last few games but we have had few key players missing because of injuries and suspensions. Despite that I am satisfied with the performance of my team. We will still be missing Ahmed Fathi and Ahmed Maqsood for this match. But there are other players who are ready to take their position and give a 100 per cent.”
 
“Ahli team is not an easy team to beat but our target is to win this game. They have Dioko who is a good striker and we have to stop him. But we are ready for Ahli or any other opponent. We will stick to our style and try to take the three points.”

“Our target was to get into the top 4 but in the last three games we lost 9 points. If we had those points we could have been in the third or fourth place. Unfortunately we had some injuries which affected our performance. Now our target is to take 12 points from the remaining games and finish as high as we can in the standings.”

It's is important that we use the short break after this match to prepare for the three remaining matches of this league campaignand for the Emir Cup later on.”

That’s what happened in the last few games. The players have shown that they are capable of delivering. It's a pleasure for a coach to work in such a positive atmosphere. In the last game, we were missing a few players but others stepped in and did a good job. I am proud that the players who were given the chance were keen to show their quality and give their maximum for the team.”

“Frustratingly Pedro is injured. Benson received a red card which was accidently given to Fred Dabanka during the match. The QSL commission ruled that it was Benson who should have got the card. So he will miss the match. Mujtaba Jabari is injured too. Younus Ali has four yellow cards. So we will have to be extra focused for the up-coming match.”
