Umm Salal Sports Club officially signed the Ivorian Yannick Sagbo; he arrives in Qatar after a two year spell with the English team, Hull City. Sagbo has signed for two seasons, and replaces Tuncay who only joined the club last season.<br />

Umm Salal Sports Club’s Head of Football- Sheikh Tamim Bin Mohammed Al Thani said, "The Ivorian player will be a big asset to the team, I wish him all the best. We also have our eyes on a number of other players.”<br />

Sheikh Tamim pointed out that a number of Turkish, Moroccan and French clubs were negotiating with the player, but Sagbo decided to join Umm Salal.<br />

Sagbo is 27 years old and plays as a striker. The player will join the team on their preseason training camp in the Netherlands next month.
