QSL side Umm Salal have unveiled their summer signings to the local media on Wednesday evening as the Orange Fortress conduct their final preparations ahead of their first game of the QSL season against Al Khor.
The ceremony saw Umm Salal reveal five players, including three new professional players who will strengthen Bülent Uygun’s side.
Defender Anderson Martins, young Brazilian midfielder Alef and Jordanian striker Tha'er Bawab make up the trio. Umm Salal also revealed two key local accusations in tricky winger Helal Mohammed, formally of Al Khor and Omar Ibrahim who represented Al Sailiya last term.
Speaking at the unveiling, Anderson Martins expressed his joy in signing for Umm Salal; “I have played in a number of clubs in Qatar and I am pleased to have signed on with Umm Salal for this season, the management have been fantastic in welcoming myself and the other new players to the club and we look forward in giving our best on the pitch.”
