Umm Salal have signed Mesaad Al Hamad from Al Ahli for one season toahead of the new Qatar Stars League season. The player signed the new contract on Tuesday in the presence of Mohamed Moussa Umm Salal's Director of Football.

Speaking on the deal, Umm Salal's owner  Sheikh Tamim Bin Mohamed said in a exclusive statement to the QSL website: "Mesaad Al Hamad is a distinguished player within Qatar Stars League, we wishing him all the best with Umm Salal over the coming season."
 
Sheikh Tamim also said "The Club Management is working on settling all the pending issues with the squad ahead of travelling to the external training camp in the Netherlands."
