QSL side Umm Salal have confirmed a friendly match against Saudi Arabian Pro League side Al Raed as the Orange Fortress continue their preparations for the return of the QSL season on Friday the 14th of October.
Umm Salal head coach Bülent Uygun was eager for his squad to maintain their fitness levels over the international break and arranged a friendly with Al Raed, who are currently in twelfth place in the Saudi Pro League.
The tie is set to take place on Tuesday the 4th of October at Umm Salal’s training ground. Umm Salal has enjoyed a so far unbeaten start to the QSL league season. An opening day 2-1 win over Al Khor, followed by a hard fought 0-0 draw with QSL champions Al Rayyan leaves The Orange Fortress in fifth place in the QSL standings.
Umm Salal are set to take on newly promoted Al Shahaniya on Friday the 14th of October in the third round of the QSL.
