Umm Salal have confirmed they will commence their training on the 11th of January 2016 after their squad a break to their squad due to the upcoming AFC U23 tournament being held in Qatar from the 12 to 30 Januray 2016.The resumption of training sessions will be preceded by medical examinations for the players at Aspetar on January 10 2016.
Professional players Yannick Sagbo and the Brazilian defender Welinton will join the team training sessions on the 12th of Jan 2016 after getting permission for two days extra leave from team management. The medical staff will be also working on the rehabilitation and recovery of injured players Nasser Khalfan and Adel Alawi.
Umm Salal are currently in fifth place in the QSL standings, and will face leaders Al Rayyan when the QSL resumes in round 16.
