Umm Salal Football Team will resume their training sessions on 6 Jan 2015 in preparation for the second stage of Qatar Stars League after the end of the players’ vacation following round 15 fixtures. It is scheduled for Umm Salal to play three friendly games, first of which against Al-Fath (KSA).Umm Salal technical staff will schedule the kick-off times during coming period. It is also scheduled for Umm Salal Team to convene a training camp in one of the hotels during the coming period after resuming the training sessions.
Qatar Stars League stopped following the conclusion of round 15 fixtures on 20 Dec 2014 due to the participation of Qatar National Team in AFC Asian Cup Australia 2015 from 09 to 31 Jan 2015.
Umm Salal is 5th in the league table with 22 points only one point away from Qatar in the 4th place and two points away from El Jaish in 3rd place. Noting that Umm Salal lost their recent match to El Jaish 1-3.
