Umm Salal Football Club will play a friendly game against Al Rayyan Football Club. Both teams will hold their overseas training camps in the Netherlands, and will be abroad from the 2nd of August until the 21st.Umm Salal will play six friendlies during their training camp. The distance between the location of Umm Salal training camp and Al-Rayyan will be just 85 kilometers.
Umm Salal Sports Club Director of Sports Affairs Ali Amin said that the other five friendlies have yet to be decided, saying, “We will play against teams from the first and second divisions of Dutch football. We have a comprehensive training programme over the summer. This has been prepared by our technical staff.”
Umm Salal Sports Club has allowed their players to go on their annual summer leave but the team will gather again to begin light training from July 5 until the travel date on the 2nd of August, when they will set off for the low country.
