QSL side Umm Salal where soundly defeated 4-0 by Saudi Arabian Pro League side Al Raed. Raed blew the Orange Fortress away with three goals in the second half to confirm the comfortable victory.

Despite the defeat Umm Salal head coach Bülent Uygun will use the friendly as a good opportunity to assess his squad ahead of the restart of the league following the international break.  

Umm Salal will now continue training and will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season when they take on Al Shahania in the third round of QSL action.
