Umm Salal Sports club has officially signed a one year deal Salem Khalifa from second division side Muaither Sports Club.
 
The club said that Salem Khalifa who plays as a winger or at times as a striker is highly rated and considered to have what it takes to play in Qatar’s top division.
 
The club’s Head of Football Sheikh Tamim Bin Mohamed Al Thani said to QSL.com.qa, "Salem Khalifa is a distinguished player and will be an asset for Umm Salal, I wish him all the best with the team for the new season which is going to be tough but interesting.”
 
He added that the up-coming season will be very difficult and competitive for all teams especially in view of all the new summer transfers to the league as well as the return of Al Rayyan.
