Defender Mohammed Alaaeldin is set to return to the squad following his one match ban against Al Kharaitiyat. Whilst Al Rayyan will also be hoping that the midfield duo of Daniel Goumou and captain Rodrigo Tabata will be fit in time for the match against Al Ahli.
The retuning players will be a major boost for coach Michael Laudrup, who has been without a number of key players in recent weeks. The current QSL champions are still without Víctor Cáceres and Abdulkarim Al-Ali though suspension whilst defender Musa Haroon is a long term injury doubt for the side.
Al Rayyan is currently in third place in the QSL standings, and have picked up 37 points from 18 QSL matches so far this season.
