Al Rayyan playmaker Rodrigo Tabata said that the team’s overseas training camp in the Netherlands has helped them achieve their targets.
 
The player said on the club’s official website about the team’s hopes and targets for the season ahead.
 
“The team knows that the new season is going to be tough. Fossati is a big name in international football with many accomplishments.” He also added, "I believe Fossati’s experience and knowledge were key in getting the best out of the players during our sessions and drills. I believe that Fossati will lead the team to titles next season."
 
Commenting on whether Al Rayyan is capable of competing for the league title, he said, "Al Rayyan has all the necessary qualities to succeed with regards to technical ability and all we need to do now is work hard during the season. We are doing our best during training in order to reach the highest levels of technical and physical performance before the new season.  We will leave no chance for our opponents."
 
Commenting on the new signings, he said: "Al Rayyan Sports Club closed several big deals recently, starting with Sergio Garcia, the Spanish star and the top goal scorer in La Liga. I believe this player will help the team to score lots of goals. As for the Korean Koh Myong-Jin, I believe he is a great signing in the midfield. He helps the strikers with his accurate assists. There were also some distinguished local signings such as Sebastian Soria, Pascu and others. I believe Al Rayyan has a distinguished team which will compete at the highest level next season.”
