The QSL Round 22 fixtures witnessed huge competition between all teams to win and achieve the three points ahead of the last few remaining rounds of the 2016/2017 season. Also, we have seen lots of competition between the players who excelled in the round’s games, with some players having big roles in their team’s matches. We highlight some of this round’s stars.

Al Sadd midfielder Hassan Al  Haydoos registered a strong performance for his team in this round and contributed in leading Al Sadd to the 4-0 win over AL Khor. Al Haydoos scored the first goal and made two assists to Pedro and Bounedjah who scored the third and fourth goals respectively. Al Haydoos is considered one of the most prominent players in Al Sadd during this game and helped his team gain three points in their campaign towards the QSL title.
Al Gharafa goalkeeper, Youssef Hassan played a great and vital role to help his team become victorious versus derby rivals Al Rayyan when he defended his goal and stopped lots of Al Rayyan attempts especially after his team took the lead 2-1.

He saved his team from two certain goals in less than five minutes. Moreover, a number of Al Gharafa players shined in this game such as Abdulrahman Al Rashidi, Othman Al Yahri and Abdelghani Munir.
El Jaish’s Malian superstar Seydou Keita contributed greatly in his team’s 2-0 win over Al Ahli. Keita scored both his team’s goals to return his team to winning ways following their loss to Al Kharaitiyat in Round 21.
Al Arabi’s Chiliean player Jimenez led his team to clinch a very important win over Al Wakra by three goals to one. The player presented a very distinguished performance during the game as he scored two of his team’s goals and made the assist to Ezeqiel to score the third.
A number of Al Kharaitiyat players excelled in their team’s match versus Al Shahaniya which ended in the Thunder’s favor by three goals to one. The vital three points lifted them up to the 8th position in the QSL table.

One of the exceptional players of the game was the Moroccan forward, Rachid Tiberkanine who scored two goals for Al Kharaitiyat with a leading role on the field.
