Al Rayyan has ramped up their preparations for their round 24 clash with Al Gharafa with a double training session during Sunday. The first session focused on core fitness, whilst the second session looked at more technical elements for the game.
Notable absences from the squad included the trio of Omar Barry, Ahmed Alaa and Captain Rodrigo Tabata who have traveled with the Qatar national side to China. Whilst South Korean international Koh Myong-jin is set to rejoin the squad at the end of the week following international duty.
Al Rayyan will be hoping to get back to winning ways against Al Gharafa, after falling to only their second defeat of the domestic season last time out against El Jaish. The Lions already picked up their first QSL title in 21 years with five rounds spare a few weeks ago.
