Syrian winger Sekou Oliseh arrived in Doha to finalise a deal with Al Gharafa Sports Club ahead of the new Qatar Stars League which is due to kick off September 11.

Team officials Fahad Al Yahri and Hussein Al Yahri were at the Hamad International Airport to welcome the player. Oliseh is scheduled for a medical before officially signing his new contract deal.

Oliseh is the fourth foreign player to join Al Gharafa and as per the QFA’s foreign players rule. He will be registered as an Asian professional player and will replace Australian Mark Bresciano.

Al Gharafa has completed their four foreign signings for the season. They have signed: Congolese striker Alain Dioko, Brazilian Anderson Martins and the Tunisian Yassine Chikhaoui.
