QSL side Al Sailiya, continued their preparations ahead of the restart of the QSL season with a 2-1 friendly win over fellow QSL side Al Khor on Wednesday evening.

Two goals in five first half minutes sealed the victory for Sami Trabelsi, with January signing Wagner Ribero and striker Mohammed Muddather notching on the 37th and 42nd minute respectively. Al Khor found a consolation from Brazilian striker Madson on the 68th minute, but couldn’t grab an equalizer in the tie.

The result will have been of use for both coaches, as it gave them a vital opportunity to test the fitness of their squad players ahead of the return of the QSL on the 1st of April. Al Sailiya is currently in ninth place in the QSL standings, whilst Al Khor is currently in eleventh place in the league.
