QSL club Al Sailiya has announced it will convene a training camp from the 12th of January to prepare for the remainder of the QSL season. The team has shelved plans for a training camp in Abu Dhabi, opting to focus their preparations in Doha.<br />

The Peregrines have wasted no time in the January transfer window so far securing the services of promising Al Rayyan midfielder Hamad Al-Obeidi on loan for the rest of the season.<br />
<br />
The QSL is taking a three week break for the AFC U23 Championships, which is taking place in Doha. The break in competition is an ideal time for Sailiya to improve their fitness ahead of a challenging second half of the season.<br />
<br />
Al Sailiya are currently in 7th place in the QSL standings, and will face bottom club Meisameer when the QSL resumes on the 27th of January.<br />
