Al Sadd have been given two days rest following their 1-1 draw with Umm Salal in round 15 of the Qatar Stars League.

The team will resume training at on Wednesday evening at the Al Sadd training ground. The QSL is now taking a three week break for the AFC U23 Championship, which will be held in Doha, Qatar.  
 
Head coach Jesualdo Ferreira and his staff will look over the Sadd squad, who have only managed two wins in the first five games of the Portuguese tactician’s tenure with the club. Al Sadd are currently in fourth position in the QSL table.
