Al Sailiya Head Coach Sami Trabelsi
“During the past week, in training we focussed on the mistakes that we have made. We are doing a good job and I hope that the team will be ready. Ahli have a balanced team with good foreign players. For the break we will give the players three days off. And after that there will be tough training session during the two week break.”

“It's a matter of personality and confidence. Those are the important factors for the team to succeed. The team’s personality should be positive. Our main problem is that we don't score enough goals. In the same number of matches last season we had five points and this season we have six. But the last season we scored 12 goals and this time we haven't scored that many.”

“We are working with players to be more effective in the final third of the pitch. When a player misses a good opportunity he creates pressure on himself and the team. I hope that in this game, Edinho will be better in front of goal and the others too.”

“Our opponent had the best scorer in the league (Alain Dioko) and now they have Mubele. They have the capability to be dangerous in front of the goal. They have good playmakers. They are looking for success but hopefully only after our game.”

“Ahli is slightly better than us this season. They haven't been able to find their rhythm which they had in the previous season. But they are still a good team with good players. It will be a difficult game with two teams trying to find their rhythm. I hope that my team scores goals and gets this win.”

Al Ahli Head Coach Zlatko Kranjčar
“Definitely we feel a little bit of pressure with the results that we have had in the last two games, because winning brings its own pressure. I believe that the good quality that we showed in the last games will continue to be demonstrated on the pitch. We are looking for our third win in a row.”

“Probably the points that Sailiya have got so far don't give an exact picture of their team. They are better than their results show. It won't be an easy game. The level of commitment in our team is high.”

“With the last two games we brought back our self-confidence which was missing. We created a lot of chances but in some cases we weren't able to hit the target or the keeper ended up saving the shot. My conviction is that in this game, the offensive players will start scoring as we expect them. We are creating enough chances but we are just not converting them.”

“I don't think that I need to find a solution for Mubele. He's not scoring as much as we like but the way he plays, he has been giving his all. I believe it's only a matter of time before he starts scoring goals. Maybe the game against Sailiya he will score.”
