“It will be a tough game. I am not saying it for the sake of it but I have my reasons. They have a very good team, very good staff. We will have a very tough game. As always we trust in our players, in our team. So we have confidence, we respect our opponent, but we aim to win this match.”
 
“To get better is what we try and do, week after week in training. We are very optimistic about the future. Because our players are training seriously and trying to constantly improve. I hope to improve in the small details and with every game we are looking to get better.”

“From the very beginning we have said that we will work game by game. My question is - which team has more pressure. The team who wins or the team who doesn't? If the answer is that the bigger pressure is on the team who wins then I want to continue having this kind of pressure. I have no problem with that.”

“It will be the most important and the most difficult game for us during this part of the season. If you compare statistics, both teams are very different and you can see which team is stronger. But you know that in football, it's not always the stronger team that wins. I feel our game against Jaish, we played well. We lost but we provided a good performance.”
 
“We try every day to keep our level of performance stable. It is one of the difficult things in football to maintain stability. Unfortunately, we didn't have 11 players ready for all games because of injuries and absences. But that can happen in football but we have been competitive in all games and in some of those we deserved to have at least one point.”
 
“To face a team like Rayyan we have to be really positive and keep working like we have done so far. We try to rectify our problems. Also players need to keep their fighting spirit. Also, players have to know that there's nothing impossible in football.”
 
Q: Will you look to be more defensive in this game?
“Normally I don't give out team information about team strategy. But anyway Fossati knows my approach to the game and I know about his style of play too. So it's not a secret. Fossati is one of the best coaches in the league. Against any opponent, we will look to gain possession of the ball and we also have to be clever to know when to attack.”
 
Q: Would you prefer to be in Fossati's shoes right now?
Not at all. I would prefer instead to bring Wakrah up to the same level as Rayyan.
