As always we have tried to use this international break to improve our performance, to analyse our past games and to correct our mistakes. I hope that we can manage to achieve that and we will see that in our future games.
 
My job as a coach during this period is to bring back some players to their previous level of form. Some of them haven't done well in the first four games. We need to come back to our winning path. We need to start winning games and come back to the position that we deserve.
 
The new players are probably a bit late. They haven't had a pre-season. They will need time to adapt, to the demands of the league and to our style of play. But after that period of adaption they will assimilate into the squad. But we already have high quality players and these two will be an addition to that.
 
I have said this from the beginning that it doesn't matter which opponent we face. There might be a few differences between teams like Lekhwiya, Sadd Jaish and the rest but the level of football is high here. The main difference is in the quality of the professional players. During this break I have impressed upon my players that the game against Kharitiyat is more important because this is the game we can come back to our winning ways.

These are the games where we need to pick up points and get back to the position in the table that we deserve. The players know that this is an important game. Kharitiyat have a good coach who will make sure that he will set up the team to play well against us. But I am confident about my players doing well in this match.

Hopefully we will improve the results. It should not be so difficult. We have had two weeks to analyse the past games. Even though it's not good to analyse too much. Before the break we played against some very good opponents. We lost those games even though sometimes we didn't play so bad. On one hand, we could think that it's not good because we lost those games and so we have to try and change everything. On the other hand it's not good either if we say it's all good and we don't have to change.

We need to find a middle path. We missed a couple of important players during this break so we couldn't quite regroup. Players were away with the national team. It's never complete. But we have trained for a couple of sessions together. Got some physical training done. It's easier now because of the better weather. 
 
We have to learn from the losses. We cannot simply accept defeat. Even if it is against teams like Bayern Munich, Manchester United and we have such teams here in the QSL. So we will see on Saturday how far we are.
 
We hope that Ahli don't play as good as Lekhiwya or Rayyan. If we play like we played against Lekhwiya then we will lose. Ahli hasn't changed that much from last season. We know their style of play. They have big qualities but also have weak points, otherwise they wouldn't have just four points.
