Al Kharaitiyat take on second placed Lekhwiya in round twenty-three of the QSL. The match will take place at the Al Khor stadium on Saturday.

Al Kharaitiyat head coach Ahmed Al Ajlani assured that his team next match versus Lekhwiya in Round 23 of the QSL is both tough and important for both sides. He stated that his team didn’t guarantee their survival yet indicating that the match is against Lekhwiya a team competing for the QSL title. He declared that one point from this game is a good result.
Al Ajlani added, “The players have memorized the match strategy with positive participation from their side. The recent victories and the huge support by the Club Management helped us greatly as well as the players who recently joined the team.”

He demanded vital concentration from his players during the match as Al Kharaitiyat will benefit from the strong fighting spirit. He also praised the opponents describing them as a tough team. The match is very important also because it is right before the stoppage period.
Lekhwiya head coach, Djamel Belmadi pointed out that the coming game versus Al Kharaitiyat is very crucial with no room for error in order to keep up in the QSL title race.


Belmadi added, “When the team is participating in two competitions, the issue lies in the timing. However, that’s not an excuse. Now we focus on the coming game instead of looking for excuses. The players are fully prepared. Anwaar Diba is making the difference for Al Kharaityat and we have to find a way to stop him. We also have quality players capable of making all the difference.”

He indicated that his team played several matches without a number of key players, nevertheless the team kept their positive performance and results.  He assured that he can handle the missing players situation as he granted the opportunity to the young players in the previous games.
