El Jaish have been out of sorts in the league in recent weeks and will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on Al Ahli on Saturday evening. French coach Sabri Lamouchi spoke to the local media ahead of the game.

Lamouchi opened up the press conference hailing the efforts of his side, despite the recent form of the team.  “We are in a difficult moment, the players will give their all in this match. The attitude in training has been perfect from them.”

“Al Ahli are a good team with new players, especially in attack. Also their captain Meshal is back, we are facing a difficult opponent during a difficult moment and I hope we can get over this stage.” added the French tactician.

Lamouchi ended the press conference revealing that his side should show plenty of passion in order to stay in the top four places. “This is now our challenge now to stay in the top four, I have certainly seen in training that my side is capable of doing this easily. I have told my players to enjoy their football to play together and to fight together. We must show heart and determination and without this we do not have any chance to win a game.”

Al Ahli will be looking to get back to winning ways following a last-gasp defeat to Al Sailiya last time out. Brigadeers boss Yusef Adam spoke to the media ahead of the match.

Adam opened up the press conference reveling that he expects a response from his side after the defeat to Sailiya.“All points are important for my side, El Jaish must be respected, they are one of the top teams in the QSL. We lost the last game in the last minute, and that is frustrating we will be looking for an immediate reaction against El Jaish.

“My side is not under pressure from relegation. The win would be great to continue our form but a loss to El jaish will not be tolerated.  Genrally the team is playing well, I am confident because from what I can see in training in games pleases me” noted the Qatari coach.

Adam ended the press conference with some praise for their January signing. “Ali Fraydoon has been a good signing for us, we need a striker like him I think he has shown his quality in recent weeks and I am hoping for more of the same towards the end of the season.”
