
Al Kharaitiyat come into the game against El Jaish following a 2-1 win last time out. The relegation threatened side are in the relegation zone, and will be targeting back to back wins which could pull them out of the drop zone. Thunders coach Ahmad Al-Ajlani spoke to the media ahead of the game.
Opening up the press conference Al-Ajlani is targeting a shock against fourth placed El Jaish. “We are heading into the final games of the league, each match is important we can’t afford to loose any points. The win last time out we won which was good for the moral of the side. We must look to build on this positive result.”
“El Jaish are a strong side with plenty of quality, as ever we are looking for the win but I think that if we are able to get a point we will be happy. Jaish played well against Al Shahania and won well, we respect them and expect them to be a test they have good players all over the pitch and we will battle hard to get a result” explained the Tunisian coach.
Al-Ajlani ended the press conference noting that his players are capable of pulling Al Kharaitiyat out of the relegation zone.“Our destiny is in our hands now, every match is tough and we have to do our best to get the points. This game against Jaish is very important and we have to be ready, we have been looking at our positive play in recent weeks not to focus on our mistakes.”
As for El Jaish, they are in forth place in the QSL standings, and returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Al Shahania last time out. Coach Sabri Lamouchi spoke to the local media ahead of the game.
Lamouchi opened up the press conference insisting that his side is focusing on getting all three points. “We want to keep on the right way, my players deserve the win over Al Shahania and our aim is for the same performance this week. Al Kharaitiyat are fighting for survival, and we know it will be a tough game for us, our aim is to pick up the three points.”
“Anwar Diba and Sanzhar Tursunov have changed Al Kharaitiyat and how they play, they are now fast on the counter attack and we will have to be ready for them on Thursday” added the french tactician.
The El Jaish boss ended the press conference calling for his side to do go back to basics in order to rediscover their form. “We have to do the simple things, the players know how i want to play. We must play like a team and look to replicate what we have been doing earlier on in the season. importantly we must play with simplicity.”
