Al Arabi Head Coach Gianfranco Zola
“It will be a very different game than the one we played against Wakrah. Khor play in a similar way like us, so there will be a lot of one-on-one situations. So it will come down to the quality of the players. The players will have to be in very good physical and mental condition. We are coming from a win where we had to deal with tough situations. We had a man sent off and we played with 10 men for 20 minutes but we did well and that gave us a lot of confidence. But we are playing a team that has a lot of desire to come back from a defeat. But I believe that Arabi will be ready.”
Al Khor Head Coach Jean Fernandez
“Of course we are expecting a reaction from our team. It's important to react well after a defeat. We are playing a good opponent in Arabi so we will have to play well.”

“We are trying after our defeat in the first game to increase the confidence in our players. They have reacted in a positive way during training; our team is ready to play this game.”
“Of course we will try to resolve some problems after a defeat. But that doesn't mean that after every game we keep altering the team. Also, I am trying to learn more about the league too as we go along.”

“We want to stop this string of negative results. Our defeat against Salal and last season's performance is a worrying factor for me. But we want to reverse the trend and get back to winning ways and get a better start to the league this time around.”

“All players are fit and ready for this game.”
