Inter Milan Head Coach Roberto Mancini was present during Al Sadd’s training session yesterday whilst on a visit to the club’s headquarters. The Italian who is in Doha for a prestigious exhibition match against PSG came to visit Al Sadd stadium where the match is scheduled to take place on November 10 at 19:30.

During his visit, Mancini met Al Sadd Head of Football Mohammed Ghanem Al Ali, who informed him about the history and achievements of the club.

 The Italian coach said that he was aware that the club was one of the best in the Gulf and in Asia. He added that he was personally keen to attend the training session during his visit, while also saying that he was impressed by the sports facilities available in Qatar. He also expressed his admiration for the facilities of Al Sadd.

Al Sadd’s first team resumed training on Tuesday after three days of rest following Round 8.

The team will now prepare for the Round 9 match against Al-Kharaitiyat which will kick off at 4:15 PM on the 22nd of November at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
 
In other Al Sadd related news first team goalkeeper Saad Al Dosari has returned to training after recuperation following an absence due to a muscle injury in his back. The injury happened in the Round 4 match against Al Ahli. The keeper has missed the last 4 Rounds of QSL action. 

Absence of international players
The training session on Tuesday took place without the participation of 6 Qatar national team players.

Ibrahim Majid, Hassan al-Haydos, Abdulkarim Hassan, Mohammed Kasola, Khalfan Ibrahim, Ali Asad are all preparing for the friendly match against Turkey on Friday and also for World Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers. 

Four Olympic team players will also miss out, they are as follows: Muhannad Naim, Musab Khodr, Saleh Bader, Hamza al-Sanhaji) as they will take part in the Olympic team camp which will include 3 friendly matches as part of preparations for the U23 Asian Cup set to be held in January.
