QSL champions Al Rayyan have begun preparations ahead of the Qatari Clasico match against Al Sadd. Jorge Fossati’s side trained on Monday evening ahead of the Sunday evening clash at Al Sadd stadium.

In team news, Al Rayyan have welcomed back defensive duo Nathan & Musa Haroon after suspensions. Whilst defender Gonzalo Viera will be absent for the Clasico after picking up his fourth yellow card of the season.

Al Rayyan will be eager to arrest their domestic form, which has seen the Lions take only one point from a possible nine since lifting the falcon shield. The lions will be hoping they can change their fortunes around in one of the most anticipated matches of Qatari football.

Al Rayyan currently has a tally of 61 points, and lifted the QSL falcon shield with five rounds to play.
