Djamel Belmardi’s side may be fatigued from their Champions League exploits, but they will have to raise themselves in this match.

As for Al Ahli, they have registered three back-to-back wins to guarantee their survival in the QSL. Yusef Adam will be hoping that veteran midfielder Meshall Abdulla can continue his good run of goal scoring form.

Whilst Umm Salal’s slim chances of getting to the Qatar Cup depend if they can beat high-flying El Jaish, along with other results going their way. Jorge Fossati will be looking for attacking inspiration from his side. He may find it in young Qatari attacker Ahmed Alaaeldin. The star of the Qatar U23 side in January has been getting increasing game-time since Al Rayyan lifted the falcon shield. He could be in line for a start in this tie, and don’t be surprised if he adds to his solitary goal this season.
