The Blue Waves are in desperate need of some inspiration and will likely turn to midfielder Mouhcine Moutouali for goals. As for Al Shahania, they fell to a 2-1 defeat to El Jaish however coach Igor Štimac can gleam plenty of positives against the current Qatar Cup winners. Al Shahania has become hard to beat under the Croatian and eight draws in the league so far certainly underlines that point. Heading into the final games of the season, Shahania are in desperate need of wins to ensure survival and will see this game as a must win.
Midfield will be a key battle ground in this match, and Al Shahania’s Iranian midfielder Mehrdad Pooladi is likely to get the nod in the Centre of the park. Pooladi is a veteran from Al Shahania’s last stint in the league, and his experience will be vital if the Oryxes are to beat the drop.
