Round 22 of the QSL season concludes with three games that could be of interest to the sides who are currently battling relegation in the league.

The first game will see an out of sorts El Jaish sides take on Al Ahli at Lekhwiya stadium. Sabri Lamouchi’s side have been on a wretched run of form of late only registering two wins from their last ten QSL games.

The soldiers are in danger of losing their top four status, and desperately need a win to ensure they can defender their Qatar Cup crown. Whilst for Al Ahli, they are in seventh place in the league and are still in danger of getting dragged into a relegation dog-fight.

The second clash of the day will see Al Arabi side take on Al Wakrah. The Dream team was soundly defeated 7-0 at the hands of Al Sadd last time out, Brazilian coach Oswaldo Olivera will certainly be looking for a reaction from his side. As for Al Wakrah, they showed plenty of spirit to fight back from two goals down to draw with Al Wakrah 2-2 last time out.

Time is very much against the Blue Waves and they desperately need some wins if they are to pull off the great escape.

In the final match of the QSL weekend is the spotlight match between two relegation threatened sides. Al Shahania welcomes Al Kharaitiyat to Al Arabi stadium knowing that they must pick up only their third victory of the season if they harbor any hopes of surviving in the league this season.

Whilst for Al Kharaitiyat, they seem to be finding their form at exactly right time and are on a three game undefeated streak in the league, which has seen them pull themselves out of the QSL relegation zone.
