Two in form teams will meet at Wakrah stadium in the 16:30 kick-off. Both Al Khor and Al Warkah came off impressive victories against El Jaish and Al Sadd in round 17. Both sides will be looking to build on their wins at the expense of each other.

Both sides will be hoping their South American strikers can fire their sides to glory. With Khor looking to diminutive striker Madson, the former Santos striker has been on fine form in recent weeks. His breakaway strike against El Jaish in round 16 was his third goal in two QSL matches.

Whilst for Wakrah Argentine forward Sasha has already bagged an impressive ten goals this season. Last time out he grabbed a brace as the Blue Waves eased passed Al Sadd 3-1 in the shock result of round 16.

The final match of Round 17 will see a top verses bottom clash when Meisameer face Al Rayyan in the 19:15 KO at Arabi Stadium.

Rayyan are the runaway leaders of the QSL and have an 11 point lead on second place Lekhwiya. Jorge Fossati could call on new signing Fabio Cesar for this match, who is expected to be at full fitness for the clash.

Whilst Meisameer are rock-bottom of the QSL with just one win to their name this season.  Head coach Rodion will be hoping that his side can avoid another moral sapping defeat at the hands of the top side in the QSL.
