Round 25’s QSL action will kick-off with three games concerning the relegation zone all starting at 18:15.

Al Kharitiyat take on Al Wakrah, in a must win for Amir Osim’s side. Kharitiyat are hovering above the relegation zone, and could get in the dreaded drop zone if results do not go their way. Yahia Kebe will be a key man for the Thunders, especially after his vital 88th minute equalizer against Al Khor last time out.

As for the side in 13th place, Qatar SC they will take on Al Gharafa at the same time. Three points are a must for the Kings, and time is running out for them if they are to beat the drop to the Qatar Gas League. Sebastao Lazaroni will be hoping that Danilo Carando can find the back of the net in this clash; the Argentine striker has been quiet since signing from Al Ahli in the transfer window.

At the same time Al Khor will face Al Sailiya, Al Khor can confirm their status in the QSL for another season, if they manage to defeat Al Sailiya. Jean Fernandez’s side will be left annoyed after dropping points in the final moments against Al Kharitiyat. A win against Al Sailiya and the Knights will be looking to South Korean midfielder Park Hee-do to build on his stunning first goal for the club last time out against Al Kharitiyat.

Saturday’s QSL action concludes when already relegated Meisameer face Al Arabi in the 20:30 KO. Gianfranco Zola’s side will be looking to get on a good run of form ahead of the domestic competitions. Captain Paulinho should be back in contention for the Dream Team, after sitting out the round 24 defeat to Umm Salal with a knock.
