Kick off 16:00 at Al Gharafa stadium. Friday November 20.

Umm Salal Head Coach Bulent Uygun
“Now after the break, we have eight games to play. So, all points will be important, starting with the game against Ahli. Nasser Khalfan will return to us once more, he was with the Olympic team. We know that our opponents have a good offensive line. The game will be difficult for both teams. This is a very important game for us. This game will help us see which place we can take in the table. We are ready to play this game and take three points. We will try to give our best.”

“When you win any game that gives more confidence to players, but what happened yesterday stays there. We have to focus on the tomorrow. That why we want to focus on this game and take three points from it. The break helped us regroup. But if you don't have the ambition to win all games then this break can have a negative impact on the team. We beat the champions, not just any other team. Last season, we had seven players leaving the team but as Rami (Fayez) said we have a good unit this time. Now we have forgotten the win against Lekhwiya and are focussing on the game against Ahli.”

Al Ahli Head Coach Zlatko Kranjčar
“We have used this international break wisely. We have used it to recover our injured players and also to give training to those players that had missed out earlier. We are highly motivated and we are waiting for the Salal game so that we can continue our good work. Hopefully this game will showcase the good work that we have done during this international break.”

“Salal is a team with high quality. During my analysis, I have seen that they are a very organised team, very compact and they work well together. They have good professional players and they won't make it very easy for us. But the only way for us to reach the top of the league is to win games like this and that is what we are hoping to do.”

“Sagbo is very dangerous in the penalty box. We have to try to keep him away from the box. I have instructed our players to do so and have worked on that during training. As for Mubele, we are happy that he has started to score goals, not only for us in the game against Sailiya but he also scored for his national team during this break.”
