The round 21 QSL match of the week will see a derby match when Al Sadd take on old rivals Al Arabi on Thursday evening.  Ahead of the match, QSL online has decided to profile a key player from each side who could make a difference in the game. This week we have decided to focus on two flying wingers in  Al Sadd’s summer signing Jugurtha Hamroun and Arabi’s Nigerian international Imoh Ezekiel coming under the spotlight. All of our data has been supplied by official partner Stats.

Both players have been ever present for their sides with Hamroun playing sixteen times and Ezekiel representing Al Arabi eighteen times this term. Interestingly  Hamroun has picked up four yellow cards this term. In terms of goals both players have found the back of the net on give occasions.

Hamroun leads the way over his rival in terms of passing, which is to be expected in an Al Sadd  side that prides itself on keeping the ball. Hamroun averages over 27.5 passes per game, significantly more than Ezekiel’s 21.8 average. Whilst Ezekiel has the edge on passing with an impressive 85.2%, which eclipses Hamroun’s tally of 83.2%.

Ezekiel has the upper hand in terms shooting accuracy with 62.9% of his shots finding the target in comparison to only 37.2% of Hamroun’s shot finding their mark. Whilst the Algerian winger enjoys better statistics in the running department clocking up a total of 9km per game in comparison to 7.9km ran by the Nigerian.

It certainly promises to be a eagerly fought and finely poised contest when Al Sadd  take on Al Arabi in the QSL match of the week for round 20 on Thursday evening.
