<p class="p1" style="font-size: 13px;">Al Shahaniya hit back from a two-goal deficit to share spoils with Al Wakrah in a entertaining 2-2 draw on Thursday evening at Al Arabi stadium. </p>

<p class="p1" style="font-size: 13px;"><span class="s1">Al Wakrah grabbed the lead through Hamood Al Yazidi who found the back of the net in the </span>18th minute. Al-Yazidi showed remarkable pace, our running two defenders beforeslotting the ball past  Shahania keeper Khalifa Al-Dosari for his side's first goal.</p>

Kais Yâakoubi’s side had the upper hand in the first half and deservedly  jumped to a 2-0 lead courtesy a penalty from in-form Moroccan attacker Mouhcine Moutouali on the 40th minute. </p>

<p class="p1" style="font-size: 13px;"><span class="s1">Al Wakrah barely settled down with their celebrations when Shahania reduced the deficit through Abdullah Al-Yazidi   on the stroke of half-time. Al-Yazidi made the most of a lose ball inside the </span>Al Wakrah box, unleashing a shot into the bottom left hand corner. The first half ended 2-1 to Al Wakrah. </p>

Algerian striker Mohamed Tiaiba showed plenty of compsure to level the game at 2-2. Staying onside, the summer signing controlled the ball well before stroke the ball in to the bottom left hand corner. </p>

<p class="p1" style="font-size: 13px;">Former Qatar Stars League QSL champions Al Gharafa, maintained their five game unbeaten streak, relying on a late penalty hosts Al Khor 2-1 and grab three points. Substitute Mohammed Razzaq converted a penalty in the 88th minute to seal Al Gharafa's feisty win in what was the eight round match played at Al Khor Stadium.</p>

<p class="p1" style="font-size: 13px;">Al Gharafa, who fought off stiff challenges from Al Khor, started strongly in the first half. With sixteen minutes on the clock, Al Gharafa grabbed early lead thanks to a powerful strike by attacker  Johnson Kendrik.</p>

<p class="p1" style="font-size: 13px;">The 24-year-old forward fired a bullet from inside the box as his shot flew past goalkeeper Baba Djibril who could little to save his side from conceding a goal in the first half. Al Gharafa took a 1-0 lead into the first half break. <br />

<p class="p1" style="font-size: 13px;">Al Khor rallied in the second half, and found a deserved equalizer  on the 53rd minute.  Moroccan football striker Mouhssine Iajour made it 1-1 for Al Khor, smashing in a volley from close range.  Pedro Caixina’s side continued to push for a winner and where  handed a lifeline with five minutes to go. </p>

<p class="p1" style="font-size: 13px;">Gharafa where awarded when referee Mohammed Al-Shammari pointed to the penalty spot after Khor defender Sultan Al Enezi was adjudged to have handled the ball in the penalty area. After a brief delay Gharafa striker Mohammed Razak composed himself to slot the ball into the top right hand corner. <br />

In the dying seconds of the clash,  Khor could have had a equalize, however Mouhcine Iajour’s close range shot was blocked by keeper Yusef Hassan. The result leaves Al Gharafa undefeated in five QSL games, with fourteen points from eight games. </p>
