Al Rayyan fans will be happy with this week’s choice for goal of the round, it came when the Lions scored their third goal of the match against Al Sailiya.

This fixture was the first match of the new Qatar Stars League season and star player Rodrigo Tabata treated the fans to an exquisite piece of play last Friday. The moment of magic came in the 67th minute and was Bergkamp-eque in appearance.
Sailiya were down to 10 men and began to struggle, they were caught with a quick counter attack as Rayyan’s defensive midfielder Víctor Cáceres spotted Tabata making a well-timed run. He sent through a clever chip and Tabata had plenty of time to control the ball, turn his man and dispatch the ball with a classy finish.
Although Rayyan already had a two goal cushion this goal was just too good to pass up.
