Friday’s QSL action will involve three games, with all six teams looking to pick up wins as we head into the final rounds of the season.
The first game of the day will see Umm Salal take on Al Ahli at Qatar SC stadium. The Orange Fortress has endured a mixed season so far, and will be targeting a win to stay away from the relegation zone. As for Al Ahli, they will be looking to get back to winning ways following their 5-1 defeat to Al Rayyan last time out.
The second game of the day will see a relegation battle between Al Khor and Muaither. Both sides have struggled in the league so far, and both know that a win would significantly boost their survival chances come the end of the season. Muaither have been undefeated in their last two QSL games, whilst Al Khor suffered a 6-0 defeat to Lekhiwya in round 19.
The final game of the day is the QSL match of the week between Al Rayyan and Lekhwiya. Djamel Belmadi’s side currently have a five point lead at the top of the standings, and have yet to taste defeat this season. Whilst for Al Rayyan they are on a seven game winning streak in the league since the start of 2017. Lions boss Michael Laudrup will be aiming for a big three points to defeat his former employers.
