Al Sailiya take on Umm Salal at the Grand Hamad Stadium, kick off at 17:30. Both teams will be looking to secure back to back wins for the first time this season. Both sides grabbed an important three points in round 5, and will be looking to build for the season ahead.
Umm Salal will look to striker Yannick Sagbo, who has scored in every match of the QSL season so far. Whilst Al Sailya will be hoping that striker Edinho can be amongst the goals again having scored his first of the season against Al Wakrah in round 5 for the Peregrines.
The other 17:30 kick off on Friday will see Al Sadd face strugglers Al Khor at the Jassim Bin Hamad stadium. Al Sadd are still unbeaten in the QSL, however they will be without lead striker Muriqui who is out for two weeks, after suffering a knock in the 2-1 victory over Qatar Sports Club in round 5.
Al Khor have yet to win this season in the QSL and head coach Jean Fernandez will be expecting a strong reaction from his side, who lost to Al Rayyan 4-2 in round 5.
Qatar SC will be looking to record the first win of the season when they take on Al Ahli in the 19:45 kick off at the Jassim Bin Hamad stadium. Qatar Sports Club has endured a difficult start to the QSL season, and have yet to pick up a victory in the league. They will be looking to Moroccan striker Mouhine Iajour for the goals, who has scored in the last two consecutive games for the Kings.
Al Ahli also come into the tie on good form having secured a last gasp equalizer in the 90th minute in their 2-2 draw with Al Kharitiyat. The Brigadiers will be hoping for a much improved performance in this match, having only picked up five points in the league so far.
