The Qatar Stars League  has contributed to the PHD of Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Hazmi, the Referee Assessor from KSA and the Instructor/lecturer in the Department of Physical Education at the University of Umm Al-Qura, Saudi Arabia focusing on the Referees’ movements and positioning, in relation to accurate decisions. Data from the 2012/2013 QSL season was used.

This comes within the role played by Qatar Stars League in its’ contributions to the development of the system and improving it for the benefit of all elements of the game.
Qatar Stars League CEO Mr. Hani Taleb Ballan welcomed Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Hazmi to his office in Al Bidda tower to review the research and its’ results with Dr. Al Hazmi.

From his side, Mr. Hani Ballan expressed his thanks and appreciations to Dr. Al-Hazmi for his valuable efforts in such research, which is considered an example for all those who seek to make a difference in the development of referees or find scientific studies that contribute to the development of the referees and football in general.

He also thanked the QFA referees department for helping out with this PHD.
